This app helps you plan London Underground journeys using live data from Transport for London (TfL), and lets you read and share short station-related stories with other users. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's handled.

This app is built and maintained independently. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Transport for London.

What information we collect

Journey searches. When you search for a station or plan a route, that request is sent directly to TfL's public Unified API to return real journey and status information. We do not store your search history.

Community Stories. If you choose to share a story about a station, we store:

• The text of the story itself
• The station it's associated with
• A simple, randomly generated identifier tied to your device — not your name, email, or any other personal detail

We do not require an account, login, or any personal information to use this app or to submit a story.

We do not currently collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Your precise location (GPS is not currently used by the app)
• Analytics or usage tracking of any kind

If this changes in a future version of the app, this policy will be updated accordingly, and the update will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

Third parties this app relies on

• Transport for London (TfL) — provides all live journey, status, and arrivals data via their public Unified API, under their own open data terms.
• Supabase — hosts the database behind station content and Community Stories. Data submitted through this app is stored on Supabase's infrastructure.
• Buy Me a Coffee — if you choose to tap the "Buy us a coffee" link in the app, you'll be taken to an external website with its own separate privacy policy, which we don't control.

We do not sell or share any information with advertisers. This app does not currently display advertising.

Community Stories and moderation

Stories you submit are visible to other users of the app. Please don't include any personal or identifying information in a story you choose to share. Submitted stories are checked against an automated content filter before being shown, and can also be reported by other users; reported content may be reviewed and removed at our discretion.

In cases of repeated abuse, the device identifier associated with a submission may be added to an internal moderation list to prevent further submissions from that device. No additional information is collected or retained for this purpose beyond the identifier itself. If you believe a restriction has been applied in error, you can contact us to have it reviewed (see below).

Data retention

Community Stories remain visible until removed through moderation, or until you contact us and ask for a specific story to be taken down (see below). Device identifiers placed on our moderation list are retained until the associated restriction is lifted.

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted content that should be removed, please contact us and we'll act on it promptly.

Your choices

Since the app doesn't use accounts, there's no personal profile to manage. If you'd like a specific Community Story you submitted removed, want a posting restriction reviewed, or have any question about this policy, please contact us at:

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the current version.
